A conference inaugurating the "SMART ŻYWIEC - (r)evolution" project, implemented within the framework of the "Local Development" Program, financed from the funds of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the country budget, will take place on Tuesday 14-th of February in the Żywiec Municipality City Hall at 1:00 p.m.
Mr Łukasz Strutyński, Polish Cities Association Advisor will talk about Local Development, grants in small and medium – sized cities – For whom are they intended and how to obtain them?
The Mayor of the City of Żywiec Mr Antoni Szlagor will introduce the project "SMART ŻYWIEC - (r)evolution. 
Ms Dominika Roszkowska, Manager of the Office for Obtaining National and Foreign Funds, will present detailed assumptions of the project.
Ms Dr. Bogna Kietlinska, a sociologist of the city, will talk about the idea of Smart cities and the possibility for Żywiec to  become a  part of this concept.
At the end of the conferece, as representatives of the project partners, Wioletta and Andrzej Sliż from the Zywiec Boules Club will speak about their project experiences.

For those who are interest in of Smart City Idea, we‘ve planned an interesting workshop entitled. "The Role of Residents in Smart Cities Building," which will take place right before the inaugurating conference (at 10:00 am) in Municipal Ecological Center of  Żywiec Municipality office.
